José Alberto Rodrigues da Silva Tavim ganhou a bolsa The Lowenstein-Wiener Fellowship para o ano académico de 2021-2022, atribuída pelo Comité de Bolsas do Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives (AJA), e da Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (UC-JIHR), pelo projecto de investigação intitulado “Aaron Lopez`s social and business networks: a man from Newport (1731-1782)”. O projecto agora premiado complementa a investigação documental feita há 10 anos na Newport Historical Society, cujos resultados foram já parcialmente publicados no artigo "‘A Lover’s Discourse: Fragments’. The Peninsula, Portugal and its Empire in the Iberian Jew`s Discourse: a few examples with some reflections" (Hispania Judaica Bulletin, vol. 9, 5773/2013, pp. 249-277). |
José Alberto Rodrigues da Silva Tavim has awarded The Lowenstein-Wiener Fellowship for the 2021-2022 Academic year by the Fellowship Committee of The Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives (AJA), Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (UC-JIHR), in the context of his research proposal entitled “Aaron Lopez`s social and business networks: a man from Newport (1731-1782)”. This investigation complements the documentary research done about 10 years ago in The Newport Historical Society, and of which the results have already been published partially in the article "'A Lover`s Discourse: Fragments'. The Peninsula, Portugal and its Empire in the Iberian Jew`s Discourse: a few examples with some reflections" (Hispania Judaica Bulletin, vol. 9, 5773/2013, pp. 249-277).
